Do you offer non wiretap tuning?

Yes! All tunes are built custom to your build and driving style. Simple performance bump for a daily driver tow truck; or max effort is available.

Can I still use a wiretap performance module?

Yes! Wiretap compatible tuning is available and encouraged for FULL FUELING.

Can I still use my OBD2 programmer?

No. Attempting to reprogram or flash any tuned ecm will overwrite and delete your purchased ecm file.

Can I still scan for engine codes?

Yes. You can still connect to the truck to view codes, run diagnostics, or data log.

Do your products include a warranty?

Warranty on workmanship only. If I make a mistake inside your tune please contact me immediately.

Where is the ecm located?

The ecm is on the driver side of the engine block under the factory fuel filter location.

How do I safely remove or install my ecm?

First disconnect both negative battery cables from batteries and isolate them. Next disconnect both positive battery cables from batteries and isolate them. Wait 20 minutes so capacitors can discharge. Skipping this step can damage the ecm. Next ground yourself by touching bare metal on the engine or chassis before you touch the ecm or its pins to avoid any static charge. Now remove the ecm.

During installation leave the batteries disconnected while mounting ecm. Before reconnecting wiring harness inspect harness connector to ensure it is free from dirt or debris. Reconnect wiring harness to ecm. Connect positive battery cables first, then negative battery cables.

Do you repair Dodge VP44 ecm's?

I do not offer ecm repair services at this time. However if your ecm has become bricked due to a failed reprogram; I can attempt forcing a file into it as a recovery providing no damage occurred to your ecm.
